Many publishers now use print on demand technology to manufacture their books. The reason:  Simple. In our digital age, it’s far too risky to tie up capital in unpredictable inventories. Rather than risk losing money by inventorying titles that don’t meet expectations (and ultimately destroy or sell off inventory for pennies on the dollar) publishers utilize print on demand (print to order) to avoid inventories altogether.

For  years, we limited our print on demand books to paperbacks only. Recently, the technology for manufacturing quality, hardcover print on demand books has improved, such that we are now able to offer titles in hardcover editions, as well as paperback. Our growing list of hardcover/paperback titles includes In Search of Your German Roots. Fifth Edition, by Angus Baxter;  Black Genesis: A Resource Book for African-American Genealogy, by Rose & Eichholz; Ancestral Trails: The Complete Guide to British Genealogy and Family. Second Edition, by Mark D. Herber; and 20 others.  Following is all 21 newly available hardcover editions. If you’re still looking for a holiday gift, you could do a lot worse than give one of these handsome works.
